Quicksand Maze is a randomly generated dungeon focused on exploration, navigation, and coordinated play. Its shifting layout, branching paths, and recurring boss encounters require careful planning rather than simple linear progression. The dungeon allows players to farm Myth coins, Ethernal Shards, and Glyph Packs.
Note: This guide covers the Quicksand Maze: Hero dungeon.
The run in Quicksand Maze: Lite is similar to Quicksand Maze: Hero. Quicksand Maze: Lite differs from Hero in having lower loot and weaker monsters and bosses. Additionally, Lite has only one stage boss instead of three.

How to navigate on the map?
The dungeon is completed in 3 stages. In each stage, you must defeat 60 normal monsters and 15 captians, after which a stage (intermediate) boss will appear. After all three stages are completed, the final boss becomes available.
In total, a full run requires killing 180 normal monsters, 45 commanders, 3 stage bosses, and 1 final boss.
Although the dungeon is a randomly generated maze where players choose paths blindly, the route to the final boss can be calculated very easily from the start.

The dungeon map consists of three elements:
- Corridors
- Rooms
- Dead-end rooms
Key rules for determing the path:
- A stage boss appears every 7 rooms, starting from the Starting Point.
- A stage boss room have no monsters. If the boss has not yet spawned (for example, if the required kills are not completed), the room will be completely empty.
- The final boss always spawns in a dead-end room.
Route calculation algorithm:
- Open the dungeon map by pressing M.
- Locate your position (Starting Point).
- Start counting rooms, excluding the room you are currently in.
The first stage boss will be located in room 7, the second in room 14, and the third in room 21.
The final boss will be in the nearest dead-end room relative to room 21.
The final boss will be in the nearest dead-end room relative to room 21.
Tip: Be careful when choosing paths at intersections. Some routes lead to dead ends if they are too short or unnecessarily long. A short route contains fewer than 22 rooms, while a long route is any route that contains more rooms than another path that already has 22 or more rooms.
